The WtHR (waist-to-height ratio) is the ratio of waist circumference to height. It specifically assesses abdominal obesity — fat around the belly that is closely linked to heart disease and diabetes. Many specialists consider WtHR more accurate than BMI: it doesn't "penalize" muscular people and it catches the dangerous "thin outside, fat inside" type.
What WtHR shows and why it beats BMI
